Who we are

Tru-Way was originally founded in 1966 in Bensenville as Strong Metal. It was not until 1993 that the company moved to Northlake and became Tru-Way, Inc. Since then, the current owners (formerly Skokie Tool and Die - founded in 1946) acquired Tru-Way in March of 2006.

Tru-Way’s continued success is ensured by the continuous analysis of our processes and operations. Our dedication to improvement allows us to continue the tradition of quality and on time delivery set by our predecessors. In addition to this, Tru-Way has acquired Luma Metalcraft in August of 2006 and fully integrated their operation into its existing facility. Currently, Tru-way is actively pursuing ISO 9001:2000 certification.
